Standing Seam Installation
Premium metal roofing built to last a lifetime.
What is Standing Seam?
Standing seam metal roofing gets its name from the distinctive raised seams that run vertically along each panel. Those aren't just for looks — they're the key to a roof that stays watertight for decades.
Unlike exposed-fastener roofing where screws penetrate the metal (and eventually leak), standing seam panels use a hidden clipping system. The panels expand and contract with temperature changes without stressing the fasteners. No holes through the metal means no leak points.
For Vermont homeowners, this translates to real benefits: snow slides off instead of accumulating, ice dams are far less likely, and wind speeds that rip shingles off standing seam won't touch your roof.
