3. Deposits and Payment Schedule
For new installation projects, we typically require a deposit to secure your project date and reserve materials. Payment schedules are outlined in your written estimate and contract. The specific refundability of deposits depends on the project stage and circumstances.
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Customer
- More than 14 days before scheduled start: Full refund of deposit minus any non-recoverable material costs
- 7-14 days before scheduled start: 50% refund of deposit
- Less than 7 days before scheduled start: Deposit non-refundable (covers scheduling and material commitments)
Cancellation by Iron Horse
In the rare event we need to cancel a scheduled project, you will receive a full refund of any deposits paid plus priority scheduling for a new date.
5. Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind our workmanship. If you experience issues directly related to our installation work, we will return to assess and correct the problem at no additional charge within the warranty period.
Our warranty coverage includes:
- Workmanship defects on new installations
- Proper installation per manufacturer specifications
- Leaks resulting from our installation work
6. Dispute Resolution
We believe in open communication and fair resolution. If you have concerns about any aspect of our service, we encourage you to contact us directly. Our goal is to find a mutually satisfactory solution.
Process for concerns:
- Contact us within 30 days of noticing an issue
- We will schedule an on-site assessment within 5 business days
- Provide a written resolution plan within 48 hours of assessment
7. What This Policy Does Not Cover
This refund policy does not cover:
- Damage caused by external factors (storms, falling trees, etc.)
- Issues resulting from customer or third-party modifications to our work
- Normal wear and tear consistent with the lifespan of roofing materials
- Pre-existing conditions not related to our work
8. Manufacturer Warranties
Many of our roofing materials come with manufacturer warranties that provide additional protection. These warranties are separate from our workmanship guarantee and are transferred to you upon project completion.
